2020 Theme: Championing Health Equity for Children and Youth

Join us for the 10th annual Sandbox Summit, a day of interactive learning and cross-sector collaboration toward solving the most pressing challenges in child and youth health and well-being.

Hosted by the Young Canadians Roundtable on Health and The Sandbox Project, the Sandbox Summit is a forum for child and youth stakeholders of all kinds to make meaningful, face-to-face connections in the pursuit of our shared goals.

Join youth, researchers, non-profits, corporate Canada, families and policymakers in Toronto for this jam-packed day of plenary presentations, panels, participant-led roundtable discussions and informal networking. Together, we will elevate our collaboration toward better health outcomes for young people across Canada.

Share promising practices from your professional and/or lived experiences, and engage with new perspectives
Hear the latest science from Canadian child and youth health researchers
Delve into the processes and benefits of successful cross-sector collaboration and co-creation

Open Space

For part of the day we will break into Open Space, a small group discussion format. At this time, we will invite participants to host a conversation on a child and youth topic of your choice or to share your own promising practice, lessons learned, or challenges we can overcome together.

Discussion topics around this year’s theme, Championing Health Equity for Children and Youth, are especially encouraged.
